When used as directed – Sourcing of unclear water will inevitably lead to shortening of filter life expectancy and prematurely clogged filters are not deemed to be integral to the warranty or abuse by putting anything but freshwater through the filter system. We will endeavor to offer great service long after the sale.

Auto-shutdown

Absolute filter will protect against harmful bacteria for the life of the filter and contains a biosafe media  – this micro purification will outlast filter. Flow rate will diminish over time – slower flow rate means greater protection – Eventually the flow rate will stop signifying filter exchange. Filter systems tested up to 1600 litres for contaminant removal.

Adopting a policy of sourcing clearest water will mean longer filter life.

To clean filter adding a purification cleansing solution to filter in bottle / container will prolong filter life.

We recommend Micropur available in Granules , liquid format or tablet ,  Milton Solution ,  Steri chlor purification , or Household bleach, in ratio of f 1 part bleach to 10 parts water.

For bottles Travel Tap and Explorer - Fill with warm lukewarm clear water - pre dose with cleansing solution according to manufacturer guidelines

FLUSH through 50% of solution and leave for 10 minutes

Flush through remainder

Flush through with clear water

For Gravity systems  HCA and Stainless Portacamp Aquaguard '3 in 1' Waterbag Maxi and Supalite

Add cleansing solution to container/ Hydration reservoir and fill with water

Filter through 50% of solution and rest for 10 minutes

Drain off surplus  and refill with clean water

Eco Stainless and Waterstraw 

Add cleansing solution  and fill with water- Draw a small amount by mouth suction to ensue filter is absorbing solution

Allow to sit for 20 minutes - Eco bottle remove filter and flush over with clean water Blow out excess water

Waterstraw - Blow out excess water from mouthpiece

Store by separating filter components as instructed in user guides supplied and air dry naturally
